A pair of matching layout drawings from the Warner Bros. Studios production "Batman: The Animated Series" (1992-2001). Featuring loose illustrations of Batman and Robin standing amidst the city skyline, the graphite drawings were created during the animation process. The imagery was created for the second episode of season one, titled "Christmas with the Joker," which aired on November 13, 1992. The episode was the introduction of the Joker in the series. Measuring 10.5x12.5" each, with the character image measuring 8"x9", the drawings are in very good condition with a minor discoloration, graphite smudges, edge and corner wear, particularly on the top edge of the Batman and Robin drawing, a small hole on the top left corner, and light staining and creasing throughout.
