A pair of production cels from the 1940s Walt Disney Studios animated shorts with Pluto. Pluto’s cel is from the 1946 short “Squatter’s Rights” and shows Pluto cowering in shame for misbehaving. Dinah’s cel is from the 1945 short “Canine Casanova” when she is happily freed from the dog pound by Pluto. The two pieces have been paired with a custom non-production background to present them in the same environment. Both character cels are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in their respective films. Measuring 18”x33.5” framed with a dual aperture mat opening that each measure 8.75”x11”, the cels are in very good condition, unexamined out of the frame. The cels exhibit some areas of paint lifting on Dinah, minor rippling throughout, and slight wear to frame itself.
