A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated short “Alpine Climbers” (1936). Featuring Donald and Mickey’s canine friends Bolivar and Pluto, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process to ensure character consistency among animators. This film marked the first appearance of Donald Duck’s St. Bernard. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the image area measuring 7.5”x12.5”, the model sheet is in very good condition with wear from age and handling including discoloration, minor edge and corner wear, light soiling, tears on the bottom edge, and staple holes in top left corner.
