An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring Merryweather and Flora arguing as they prepare Princess Aurora's dress, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 17" x19.5" framed with a mat opening of 8.5"x11" and the character image area measuring 6"x10", the cel is in good condition, unexamined out of frame, with light rippling throughout and minor paint wear in Flora's eye and chest. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background.
