An original model cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring five of Briar Rose's woodland creature friends, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model cels are used by the ink and paint department as a reference tool to ensure character consistency. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall and with an image measuring 10.5"x14", the model cel is in good condition with a small area of paint cracking and lifting in the squirrel's tail.
