Bellboy Donald Production Background & Recreated Cel - ID: octdonald19088

An original production background from the Walt Disney Studios animated Donald Duck short "Bellboy Donald" (1942). Featuring the exterior viewpoint of the hotel elevator that Donald operates in the short, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background represents an actual frame of animation that was photogaphed and appears in the short. The piece has been paired with a studio recreated cel of Donald in his bellboy costume. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the background image itself measuring 8.5"x11" and Donald measuring 4.5"x2", the setup is in excellent condition.
