A production cel from the Disney Studios television series “Walt Disney’s Disneyland” (1954-1958). Featuring Donald and one of his nephews, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode “Donald’s Weekend,” which aired on January 15, 1958. Measuring 9.75”x12.75” framed with a mat opening of 6”x9”, and a character image size of 5”x7.5”, the cel is in very good condition with some areas of paint cracking to Donald’s hands and eyebrow, light marks near his nephews cheek, and age-related rippling and fading. The cel is unexamined out of the frame.
