Pluto and Bolivar “Alpine Climbers” Storyboard Drawing Signed by Bill Herwig (1936) - ID: jul26147

A storyboard drawing from the Walt Disney Studios animated short “Alpine Climbers” (1936). Featuring Pluto and Bolivar the St. Bernard inebriated at the end of the film, the graphite on paper drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The drawing is also hand-signed by animator Bill Herwig. Measuring 20”x22” framed with mat opening measuring 10.25”x12.25”, and the character image measuring 5”x5”, the drawing is in very good condition, unexamined out of the frame. The paper exhibits minor edge wear, slight discoloration, and light wear to the frame itself.
