An original Walt Disney Studios preliminary background from the 1950s or 1960s. Featuring a desert mountain scene painted primarily in golds, greens and browns and in a mid-century modern style, the preliminary background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.75"x15.5" overall and with the character image measuring 9.5"x15.5", the background is in very good condition.
