A photostat model sheet from the Disney Studios Silly Symphonies animated short "Toby Tortoise Returns" (1936). Featuring renderings of several of the characters and their comparative sizes, the model sheet was created at the studio and used as reference during the animation process to ensure character consistency. Measuring 13"x16.75" overall, with the character image area measuring 12"x15.75", the model sheet is in very good condition with light wear and discoloration from age and handling and a small stain on the upper right corner.
