This is an original congratulatory birth announcement for legendary animator Bill Tytla. This drawing was created in 1940 by the Disney Studios effects department to congratulate Tytla on the birth of his son. Peter is reported to have been Tytla's inspiration for his animation of Dumbo! The overall piece measures about 22.5" x 8.5" and the image area measures about 9" x 8.5". The piece is in very good condition.
