A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film “Alice in Wonderland” (1951). Featuring one of the Tweedles from their obnoxiously funny sequence in the film, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 20”x16” matted, with the mat opening measuring 7”x5.5” and the character image measuring 6.5”x3”, the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight rippling to the cel layer, and slight paint lifting in the feet and bow tie. The cel has been slightly trimmed to 8.5”x11.25”.
