This is a wonderful limited edition maquette from the Walt Disney Studios animated feature, Tarzan (1999). This rare maquette features a great pose of Tarzan amidst the jungle trees, and it measures 9.5" x 5.75" x 4". This maquette was made as a wrap gift at the end of the film's production and was made exclusively as a gift for the cast and crew that worked on the film. Only 2200 of this unpainted resin statue was made (some statues were painted by the studio upon request, but are part of the same overall edition). The design of this limited edition was created from the mold used to create the production maquettes used by the animator. This limited edition statue is in excellent condition as it has been stored in its original box until we put it on display, and it still has it's original protective packing materials.
