This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production The Great Mouse Detective (1986). This hand-painted cel features the villainous Ratigan violently waiving little Olivia Flaversham over the crowd from the royal balcony. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cle is paired with a studio printed reproduction background. The overall measurements of the piece are 11.25" x 17.5" and the image itself measures 6" x 9.75". The production cel is in very good condition.
