An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Great Mouse Detective" (1986). Featuring a fabulous image of Ratigan's blimp, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the image measuring 5"x5.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor handling wear. The cel has been paired with a color copy background (the image of Ratigan is part of the copy background, not part of the cel).
