Featuring Chief checking on tiny little puppy Copper, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 19”x22.75” framed with mat opening measuring 9.75”x13.75” overall and with the character image measuring 8”x12”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. It's likely the cel was laminated by the studio for distribution, there is minor discoloration, line fade, slight rippling, and the frame shows light wear overall.
