A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film “The Fox and the Hound” (1981). Featuring the wise old owl Big Mama, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 12.5”x15.5” overall, with the character image measuring 5.75”x7”, the cel is in very good condition with slight rippling around the edges, a pin sized area of paint loss on the tail feather, adhesive residue at the corners, and the cel is attached to a printed reproduction background.
