A production drawing from the Disney Studios animated classic "Pinocchio" (1940). Featuring Gideon, the henchman of the shifty con artist Honest John, the gorgeous graphite drawing was created at the studio by Disney Legend John Lounsbery, and used during the animation process. Lounsbery was a member of Disney's "Nine Old Men" and worked on many of the Studios most beloved characters. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the character image measuring 7"x7", the drawing is in very good condition with slight discoloration, dimpling, and edge wear due to age and handling.
