An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). Featuring a tremendous image of Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, and Bashful pulling the cart out of the mine, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. The framed piece measures 13.5"x18.5", with the mat opening measuring 6.75"x12.75", and the character image measuring 3"x12". The cel was originally prepared by the studio for sale at the Courvoisier Galleries and is in fine condition, although it has not been examined outside of the frame with no noticeable paint damage. It features traditional characteristics of a Courvoisier setup, including the cel being trimmed to image and paired with a custom painted, airbrushed background.
