A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated Silly Symphony short "The Robber Kitten" (1935). Featuring Abrose the cat’s mother with comparative sizes of Ambrose and Dirty Bill, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 9”x12” overall, with the character image measuring 8”x10.5”, the model sheet is in good condition with age related discoloration, minor edge wear, staple holes, assorted stains, various creases and fold lines, and a few graphite markings.
