A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated Silly Symphony short "Little Hiawatha" (1937). Featuring the beaver and grasshopper from the forest, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 8.25”x10.5”, the model sheet is in very good condition with minor age related discoloration, edge wear, staple holes, and rippling along the edges.
