A production drawing from the MGM Studios animated film "Slap Happy Lion" (1947). Featuring a fantastic illustration of the Lion's hair exploding off the top of his head, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x7", the drawing is in very good condition with a small stain near the top right corner, some age-related yellowing and paper discoloration, and minor edge wear including small tears along the top right edge.
