An original production cel and background from the Marvel/Sunbow animated series "JEM and the Holograms" (1985-1988). Featuring an image of a man coming through a doorway, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled "The Music Awards (Part 2)" which aired on September 20, 1986. Measuring 10"x14" overall, with the cel measuring 9"x10.5", and the character image measuring 6.5"x5", the piece is in very good condition with the cels attached to the background and each other from paint transfer, staples along top edge, and tape along bottom edge.
