A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring the Starjammers Hepzibah and Corsair just before they embrace to say goodbye, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 14:52 in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part IV: The Starjammers." Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7"x8", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, curling, and paper transfer stuck to the reverse from storage and production use. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
