A production cel from the Marvel Studios classic animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a dynamic image of a battle between Ch'od, Cr'eee, Cyclops, Gambit, and Phoenix, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the sixth episode of season three, titled "The Phoenix Saga Part 4: The Starjammers," which aired on September 6, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8.25"x10.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
