A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic close-up of Jean Grey battling with the powers of the Dark Phoenix taking over, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "The Dark Phoenix, Part III: The Dark Phoenix," which aired on November 19. 1994. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x8.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line fade, and paper stuck to the reverse from production use and storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
