A multi-layered production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a dynamic image of Empress R'Klll and Supreme Intelligence when they are conversing with Lilandra, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "The Dark Phoenix, Part IV: The Fate of the Phoenix," which aired on November 26, 1994. Supreme Intelligence is on a cel measuring 9"x10.5" and Empress R'Klll is on a 10.5"x16.5"cel. The character image area measures 5"x15". The cel is in very good condition with minimal line wear, curling to the Empress cel, and paper stuck to the reverse from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
