A matching production cel and background from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Darkstar as she joins forces with Colossus, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The matching setup is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 16:25 in the season two episode "Red Dawn." Measuring 10.5”x14.25" overall, with the painted image area measuring 10”x14", the setup is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear, slight line wear, and paper transfer stuck to the reverse of the character cel.
