A pair of production layout drawings from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine and Justine Cocteau at the grave of Andre Cocteau, the graphite on paper drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The final colored versions of these images are seen at about 17:33 in the season five episode "Old Soldiers." Measuring 10.5"x12.5" and 10.5”x20.5” overall, with the image area measuring 8.75”x12” and 7.5”x8” respectively, the drawings are in good condition with wear from studio use and storage including discoloration, smudging around the images, edge wear, a heavy crease in the center of the larger drawing sheet, and various other creases throughout.
