A matching production cel and background from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Beast as he discusses Professor X’s health in his hospital room, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The matching setup is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 4:58 in the series finale episode "Graduation Day." Measuring 10.5”x13" overall, with the painted image area measuring 10”x12.5", the setup is in good condition with minor surface and edge wear, slight line wear, and paint wear on the cel and background from previously being stuck together. The matching drawing of Beast is also included.
