A production background from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated film "Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw" (1988). Featuring an ominous forest landscape, the background and non-matching foreground overlay were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The hand-painted overlay and background layer actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the film. Measuring 10.5"x22" overall, the setup is in very good condition with minor handling wear.
