An original hand-painted publicity cel from the Hanna Barbera animated Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo series (c.1980-1982). Featuring a charming image of Scooby hugging Scrappy with his tail, the hand-painted cel was created by the studio and used as a gift or promotional item to advertise the show. Measuring 17"x18.75" framed with the character image area measuring 7"x9.5", the cel is in fine condition with minimal line wear and light wear to the frame. The piece has also been paired with a color copy reproduction background and is unexamined out of its frame.
