This is an original sign from the State Fair at Disneyland in 1987. The Disneyland State Fair was created to help improve attendance during portions of 1987-88, and featured Disney character inspired carnival games as well as a large ferris wheel in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This sign was displayed on a lamppost in Main Street during the first year of the fair. The imagery is accomplished on sturdy PVC with gold-tone silk-screened details over the printed image. This sign measures 20" x 21" and is in fine condition with expected wear from use, including light surface scuffing.
