This is an original ink and marker illustration created by famed Disney Imagineer Xavier Atencio. The adorable image features Mickey and was drawn as a gift to celebrate a colleague's retirement in 1983. The drawing is signed by XAtencio to the lower right of Mickey's image. The overall piece measures 24" x 21" matted with a 10.25" x 8.25" opening and the image itself measures 6.5" x 4.5". The extremely large mat size is likely a gag related to the notation of a "practical" design.
