The figurine is an interpretation of the famous Spirit of '76 image and is hand-painted and attached to a wooden base. The figure holds a music box that plays "Yankee Doodle". The finish on the music box's closure is unfinished, and the base does not have the event plaque, which indicates that this piece was likely a production prototype and not a publicly sold piece. Measuring 6"x8" and 8" tall, the musical figure is in good condition with some wear including paint is chipped in a few places.
