MUSIC LAND

Released in 1935, this masterpiece of animation tells of the Isle of Symphony and the Isle of Jazz separated by the Sea of Discord.

THE OLD MILL

Released in 1937, and winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Short, was the first use of Disney's innovative "multiplane camera" which gave depth to the great Disney films from this point forward.

THE OLD MILL...Great set of three production drawings of the Mill Pond, the Reeds blowing in the storm and the Storm effects in the background - demonstrating the detailed multiple levels of animation that made this pioneering Multiplane film so breathtaking. One of the most memorable moments in a classic Disney Mickey Mouse Short Rendered in red pencil and graphite on untrimmed 10"x12" animation paper. Each image in the series is contained within a red pencil "frame" measuring 6.75"x 9" and the average image size of Clara and the Microphone measures approximately 7.5"x 5".
