Two Chip and Dale style Chipmunks first appeared
on screen in 1943's "Private Pluto", and then in "Squatter's
Rights". They were first named Chip And Dale in the 1947 Donald
Duck Cartoon, "Chip And Dale". Chip is the chipmunk with
the Black Nose, and Dale is the chipmunk with the Brown Nose.

Two Chip and Dale style Chipmunks first appeared on screen in 1943's "Private Pluto", and then in "Squatter's Rights". They were first named Chip And Dale in the 1947 Donald Duck Cartoon, "Chip And Dale". Chip is the chipmunk with the Black Nose, and Dale is the chipmunk with the Brown Nose.
