This is an original photostat layout drawing from the Hanna Barbera Studios production The Flintstones (1960-1966). Featuring Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, the photostat print was created at the studio and used by animators as a reference tool during production, in order to ensure consistent character design. The emerging xerox technology became the standard used by Hanna Barbera Studios in the 1970’s, so only the 1960s and earlier productions used this photostat reproduction method to create their reference materials. The overall measurements of the piece are 10.5" x 12.5" and the image itself measures 5.5" x 5" . The print is in fair-good condition with some minimal edge wear from use and age.
