A pair of original production drawings from the DePatie-Freleng Studios animated special "Halloween Is Grinch Night" (1977). Featuring The Grinch looking upset with Euchariah Who on the main image, the drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The second drawing depicts the head and facial expression of another side character from the special. Notably, the drawing with the Grinch is noted "Grinch Ted Approved Mar 7/71," indicating that Dr. Seuss himself saw and approved of this drawing. Each sheet measures 10.5"x12.5" overall with the character image area measuring 6"x7.75" for the page with the Grinch and 2"x2" for the additional drawing of the head. The drawings are in very good condition with minor dimpling, edge wear, and discoloration.
